Eric’s Cabbage Chili 🍎

You will need:

  • 1 lb organic ground beef
  • 1 strip of pork belly cut in half
  • 1/2 head of organic cabbage chopped
  • 1/2 orange bell pepper chopped
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper chopped
  • 3/4 cup chopped white onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 2 Bosc pears chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 T Bill’s Bees Avocado Blossom Honey
  • 2 14.5 oz cans of organic no salt diced tomatoes
  • 1 15oz can of dark red kidney beans drained
  • 1/2 T onion powder
  • 1 T dry chopped onion
  • 1 T ground Ancho chili
  • 3 T ground chili powder
  • Couple dashes of cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 T granulated garlic
  • 1/2 T cumin
  • 1/2 T white pepper
  • 1/2 T tumeric
  • 1/2 pack of Nueva Cocina Cuban Seasoning with olives and raisins
  • Rice cooker with slow cooker option

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef and pork belly in pan.
  2. Place beef in Rice cooker.
  3. Add fresh ingredients to cooker.
  4. Pour diced tomatoes, honey and kidney beans next.
  5. Add dry seasonings next and stir.
  6. Cook on high for 4 hours.
  7. Serve and top with cheese and broken tortilla chips.
  • Note: Cabbage Chili is delish!
